Ok while the concept can be simple, time is a factor. We have to send an SOS - Save Our Show. We have to get large numbers and do it fast and in a fashion to draw attention. There are already efforts underway to save the show and send messages, please, keep doing those. But, let's try to do a massive, concentrated effort with multiple paths of attack.

HULU.COM and VIDEO - (Thanks to ms_geekette on Defying_TV LJ community for thefollowing) - watching the episodes online at ABC and/or Hulu (if you're in the US and CTV in Canada) will also send a message to the network. Also, it looks like individual episodes are available for sale @ Amazon.com (I haven't checked Itunes...it may be there, too.) - Letters and email are great, but when it comes down to it, the network is all about the $$$$, naturally. So I watch it online and click on their stupid ads...sigh...it's really all they care about...revenue and statistical data they can use to make themselves more revenue. Getting everyone to watch the same episode at the same time in attempt to bog their down their servers might be a fun exercise

so take a little time Sunday, or any day, and watch one of your favorite episodes online - and EVERYONE - try watching at 10 EST - show them the millions of fans that really exist ;)


EMAIL and COMMENTS on Articles Written about DG - The idea is to push DG to the forefront of people's minds and for at least one moment show the power of BETA's siren call... If someone has written an article about the show - post a comment - show a lot of people care - plus add in the link for the petition 1 million fans for Defying Gravity facebook site or this site anything to bring people together. Then send a quick email thanking the writer for writing about DG and maybe suggesting they should write more!!!! There is a growing fan base and viral campaign to try and show there are many people interested in this show and continuing the "mission". OK - I am trying to collect ideas people are throwing around - I will try to get mailing addys soon - if someone can help - thanks - and also if you know other ideas - we just need COORDINATION PEOPLE hehehehehe - it is nice to talk the talk - but let's do some "walking"!!!!!!!

So far the following has been suggested -

1. Sending in Bunnies (Rufus)

2. Sending in baseballs either colored red or with a slogan from the show written on it

3, Put a Support Graphic/banner on your website or other place!!!

4. JosefSalyer - I think foam stress balls with the words "DEFY THIS" on them can be made for about 75 cents a pop.

5. Packets of ketchup - if you can figure out how to keep them from being mushed
